New WP Theme for My Video Site

After months of looking , testing, and procrastinating, I’ve finally picked a new theme for my video site.  There are plenty of themes that handle regular posting + a few videos (like this theme)  and there are a few video based themes that do video really well but where very lacking in the normal aspects that you would want a theme to handle.  I won’t bore you with all the details but my final choice comes from Solostream.  They make it tough to choose becuase they have a couple of dozen choices.  If you’re looking for a new theme, they should be on your list to look at.

Need More Web Traffic?

Of Course you do!  Me too!

I’ve just spent my Saturday morning searching, researching, and kicking around the web looking for new ways to get more traffic to my sites.  As you probably know, building site traffic is a constant battle, and its getting harder since big companies are moving to the internet and are sponging up tons of traffic and buyers.  They’re spending big bucks to get buyers to spend big bucks.    I need all the help I can get to compete for those prospect eyeballs and here’re two approaches I found that look pretty good – see what you think!

The first is an approach that would allow me to take advantage of special events.  Examples might be the recent launch of Apples IPAD or a Guru Product launch, or even a local or national event.  Big events like these create buzz and thousands of searches made by highly interested people.   This video training show how to introduce an appropriate product into this mix and of course make a few bucks in the process.     Targeted Traffic Strategy

The second approach is actually a tool and I’ve just installed it on a couple of test sites.  This is actually one of the hotest products on the internet and I hope it lives up to its hype.  I don’t like the site very much but I really like the video at the top of the page.   If you’re going to make a product promo video, this is an excellent example to follow.

So… if you need traffic.. check them out.

Making Money by Talking!

Are you one of those people who have a gift of gab?  Do you enjoy acting out a bit when you’re having fun?  Maybe changing the tone of your voice to sound like your local DJ?  If so, then theres a booming industry thats looking for new talent.  Maybe You!

I’m talking about the Voice Over Business.  Voice Overs are in everything these days.  Videos, PDFs, mobile devices of all types, not to mention commercials, PSA’s, Kiosks, even automatic equipment.   I was in a revolving door in a Vegas hotel recently that welcomed me in 3 languages!

And the demand is for real voices, not just the pro announcer voice that used to be part of every commercial.  Young, old, male, female, accents – if you can talk and take a bit of direction, there may be an opportunity for you in the Voice Over Business.   Believe it or not, in some cases you may be able to do a lot of business over the internet from your home office!

It is a business, however, and if you want to find out how to get started, I’ve discovered a new video guide that leads you step by step thru the process of getting setup, branding yourself, and shows how to market your talents.  It’s found at VoiceOverBusinessSecrets.com.  If you have questions about the voice over business, give it a look or let your talented friends know.

Surprise: “They’re giving Kajabi Away”!

FINALLY, they get it! Even I’ve been getting tired of seeing a launch and having to speculate whether the price will be too much on launch day…

Check this: http://get.kajabi.com/funnel_events/325?kjba=b80c9d67

After causing massive curiosity, people were starting to assume that Kajabi was going to be priced out of most people’s range… So they’ve released the sales video…

TWO WHOLE DAYS before the launch date. How cool is that?

No pressure, no surprises… No, wait. Scratch that. HUGE surprise. It rhymes with “Tree Frial”… :D

Preview it here: http://get.kajabi.com/funnel_events/325?kjba=b80c9d67

BTW, even though it’s not on sale until Thursday, you can get on the “Early Bird” list right on that page and get an email so you can get “cuts-ies” right to the front of the line.

Not a bad idea.

I’m thinking this is going to change the way launches are done.   Everyone is going to start revealing the sales video early now like this?

Kajabi 30 Page Report

Here’s a super-nice marketing report from Kajabi.

Before you read this report, I have to ask:

http://get.kajabi.com/funnel_events/317?kjba=b80c9d67

Have you seen the video for the Kajabi marketing software that came out this week?  People are going nuts over it, and it still won’t be released for days…

It’s kind of crazy to make people wait so long for something they seem really excited to get their hands on, lol.

But the Kajabi guys at least have a little something to occupy your time after watching their video and waiting for the doors to open.  How about a free 30 page report?

And not just some cheesy “how to market online” thing, either.  This is high level mindset stuff.  Fatal Frustrations.  Fundamental Forces.  Pre-Flight Factors.

Big stuff.  The kind of stuff that can take a wanna-be to “been there done that”… or just leave him at “has-been”.  Check it out, I think you’ll like it a lot!

By the way,  if you’re part of a mastermind group with your colleagues and peers in marketing, this report has got some great topics to discuss.  Stuff that goes beyond “traffic” or “conversion” conversations:
