Do You Need a Short Cut to Internet Success?

Like you, I’m always looking for ways to be more successfull on the Internet.  I’m always searching for new tools and shortcuts that will save me time and effort … and help me make money quicker.   Here’s what I mean by tools and shortcuts:

Tool:  Anything that makes your job easier, saves time, or best of all – does it for you.  Website Editors, auto-responders, web hosts, link management tools, blog plugins, themes for sites and blogs,  product download managers all save you tons of time and automate the everyday processes you use to make money or market your products.

The Wiktionary defines ShortCut as:

  • A path between two points that is faster than the commonly used paths.
  • A method to accomplish something that omits one or more steps.
  •

This time, what I’ve found is a site building tool… actually I’d call it a toolkit.. that combines many of site tools and marketing methods I use all the time on my sites and bloggs.   The difference is that its all in one easy to use package that saves tons of time…  and does it right the first time.    Here’s a short video that demonstrates how easy this is to use and shows way you don’t need to be a techie to use it.

    Bing Says Facebook Tops Google

The financial section of my Bing Web browser reported to me this morning that Facebook had topped Google as the most-visited Web site in the U.S. for the week  that ended March 13, 2010.  Facebook visits making up 7.07% of all Web visits and Google visits came in at 7.03% that week.

According to HitWise, it was the first time Google came in at No. 2 since the week ending Sept. 15, 2007.

Facebook was also the most-visited site on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, Hitwise said.

The market share of visits to Facebook surged 185% last week from the same week in 2009, while Google visits were only up only 9% year over year.

Internet Marketers who have been predicting the demise of Facebook may need to rethink.   In their rush to the next big marketing thing – Twitter – they may have buried a healthy Facebook.  Facebook and Google together make a pretty strong Internet team accounting for a little over 14% of all U.S. Internet visits last week.

Will RAP Bank give ClickBank a Run for Your Money?

I know you’ve heard of marketplaces like ClickBank, and others, where you can signup as an affiliate to sell other peoples products, or post your own products – so others can sign up as your affiliate.  In terms of marketing, its a win-win for all concerned.    Clickbank has over ten thousand products and has processed billions of dollars in orders and affiliate commissions.  Thats made it difficult for new marketplaces to grab market and mind-share from people like you and I.

Now there’s a new player, RAP Bank,  that may have what it takes.  It already has several hundred products listed and is growing very rapidly.  It seems that new products that may get lost in the massive size of Clickbank can gain some traction at RAP Bank.   Bottom line, if you have a product to promote or if you’re looking for a product to promote as an affiliate then you need to take a look at both of these markets.

So, besides the opportunity to make money… why else do people use these marketplaces?

    • First,  they’re free and easy to join.  Grab an account at either place (  ClickBank  or  RAP BAnk ) and you can be in business in just a few minutes.
    • Second, simplicity and ease of use!  Everything you’ll need is in one place.  Affiliates know they can always find something to market and vendors know that listing their product for $50 should help them to recruit people to help them sell it.

But each marketplace runs with its own rules and some are more user friendly than others.   Clickbank, for example,  presents a problem, for the newbie affiliate marketer, because you not only have to wait at least two weeks between paychecks, they also have a bunch of requirements like having 5 different buyers with credit cards and the like.  And, if you don’t make sales fast enough, you get to sit by and watch your account slowly be penalized back down to $0.  That can be frustrating!

RAP Bank says there’s an easier way!  They promote products that pay instant commissions and send payments directly to your PayPal account.  Instead of getting a cut of total sales after who knows how long, you get full sales every so many sales (ie., a 50% commission pays out every other sale).

But, until now, there’s been no single marketplace for this kind of instant commision affiliate product.  Some have tried, but it took too much effort for the vendors — often with large inventories to manage — to get their products into the system.   Others have even created and sold ebooks products made up of just a bunch of links to different vendors who market using the Rapid Action Profits script (the recognized leader in instant commissions).  Thing is, then you’d have to go sign up as an affiliate to each of those programs.

You probably noticed I wrote “until now” above, right? That’s because RAP Bank thinks it has a solution that’ll make everyone happy.

    • Vendors can automatically upload all their products in one fell swoop.
    • Affiliates only need a single affiliate id in order to sign up for all of them in one spot.
    • Instant commissions via PayPal – no waiting 2-4 weeks   for payout
    • Exclusive reporting showing which product’s getting a  lot of traffic over past 1 day, 2 days, 3 days,    1 month… and more!
    • Ability to promote a single product directly –   sending them straight to the vendor’s site
    • Ability to promote an actual page, category, etc..   on the marketplace – and get paid even if the customer buys a different product! (powerful feature!)
    •  instant integration, upload, product reports for those of  you who actually have RapidActionProfits as your sales and affiliate marketing system!
    • and many, many more ….

Is this the winning combination that affiliate marketers are looking for?  Maybe, but in fairness to Clickbank, while the free deal is good, to get the best affiliate commission deal at RAP Bank you have to pay a monthly membership fee – which is pretty low now but will be raised in the near future.  Its like everything in the business world – you have to evaluate whats best for your situation.
