21Biz.com and Steve Beard

21biz.com (Short for 21st Century Business) was launched in 1999 as a marketplace featuring basic internet marketing information and connections for webmasters and Do-it-Yourself Marketers. This portal approach has worked well over the years and with the internet growing so quickly, I’ve found that most people appreciate a site that features key links and basic information on how to grow their internet businesses. 

While I know that most people will need multiple streams of niche income to be financially successful on the internet, you’ve got to understand the basics before you achieve that “overnight internet success” that many sites and products promise and seldom deliver.

Some features here – like the pages on personal development and the growing section on business planning that are not found on single product web sites. These are areas that have been very important in my own personal and business success and seem to be lacking in most business development sites.

For those of you who want to know more about my background, I’ll try to keep it brief. I’ve been self employed for over 30 years, primarily in the computer industry. To put that in perspective – when I got started – the 286- 4Mhz was a hot computer and the Internet as you know it was still many years down the road. Since then I’ve started 4 computer related business, 1 insurance agency, 1 car racing team, and written a book on health and fitness (soon to be an ebook). All but one where successful, a couple grew to 6 figure size.

 Jan 1, 2010 Update:  After years of working internet marketing as a second business,  I’ve retired from all of the above and am happily working fulltime at niche internet projects which include web video, self help PLR, and Stock Trading for Profit.  You’ll also find me associated with several projects flowing out of my site at www.vegaswebtech.com.

Bottom line – I enjoy the challenge of starting and building businesses. I hope that some of what I’ve learned over the years will rub off on this web site and you. I know that you’ll find information here that will help you build your business to great profits and your personal life to great success.
